My 22nd Birthday Weekend in Abuja, Nigeria

On the 8th of August 2021, I turned 22! I am normally a big birthday person. Since I was 13 years old, I don’t think I’ve gone through any birthday without celebrating it even if it’s just lunch or dinner with my friends/family.

But in the run up to my birthday this year, I wasn’t as excited as I usually am. Maybe I thought I was getting too old for birthdays to excite me, or maybe 22 just didn’t seem like an exciting year, compared to 21 or 23.

But I celebrated my birthday nonetheless, and I am glad I did! What started out as a dull birthday weekend turned into a fun one. Once I got dressed and met up with my friends, my mood went up. I’m glad I got to have fun on my day, and I’m even more glad I had the opportunity to document it with a vlog.

Join me in this vlog which features a birthday cake, acrylic nails, a pool table, food and drinks, some amazing friends, good music, and pure vibes!
