“Ya Na Nan” by Kae Strings is one of those soothing and simple songs that make you feel at peace when you listen to them. The chorus of the song, in Hausa Language, translates to Here He is/ Here we are/ King of Heaven/ He is here (scroll down to see the full lyrics). I love how simple the song is. The serenity of Kae Strings’ voice, in addition to the simplicity of the song lyrics, makes the song even more wholesome.
This song pretty much got me through those long train journeys back when I was in uni. I listened to it again and I can tell you that the song still gets me every time. So I thought it would be fitting to share it.
You can listen to the song below or on YouTube.
